1. Eligibility and application requirements
To apply you must:
- be 18 years of age or older — this is confirmed on the application form and the program is not open to minors;
- provide a valid email address you can access, because email is the only channel the program uses to contact you;
- complete the application form, including the two required consents — consent to process your application, and agreement to these participation terms.
You do not need a Monyra account to apply, and applying does not create one. You do not need to be an existing customer, and you do not need any financial experience — first-time users are explicitly wanted.
The application form has no field for a government identification number, banking credentials, a credit report, an account number, exact income, exact debt balances, or any financial document. We do not want them and will not ask for them.
One active application per person. While your application is still being considered — that is, it has not been declined and you have not withdrawn it — a repeat submission from the same email address is recognised as the same application rather than a second one, and a further application is not accepted. If your application is declined, or if you withdraw it, you may submit a new application: the earlier record is kept as history, but it no longer blocks a fresh one. All applications remain subject to the program's normal abuse-prevention limits, which cap how many submissions a single connection may make in a short period.
2. Manual selection process
Every application is read by a person. There is no automatic acceptance and no automatic rejection.
Applications receive a qualification score out of 100, calculated across five published criteria:
| Criterion | Maximum |
|---|---|
| Genuine need and relevant use case | 25 |
| Willingness to participate consistently | 25 |
| Ability to provide actionable feedback | 20 |
| Fit with available Monyra features | 15 |
| Application completeness | 15 |
The score is a guide for the reviewer, never a decision. No application is accepted or declined on its score alone. The reviewer can see exactly which points were awarded and why.
Selection aims for a balanced group across different financial goals, experience levels and intended use cases. We do not select on protected characteristics, and we do not select on financial hardship. We do not use your country of residence for eligibility scoring.
Applying does not guarantee selection. Once a decision has been made, every applicant is told the outcome — acceptance, a waitlist place, or a decline — and there is no penalty for applying. Decisions and their emails are issued by an administrator as each application is reviewed rather than automatically, so an application that has not yet been decided has not yet been answered.
3. Maximum 25 participants
The cohort is capped at 25 accepted participants. The cap is checked on the server before an acceptance is recorded: if 25 applicants have already been accepted, a further acceptance is refused and the applicant is offered a waitlist place instead.
Acceptance is a manual action taken one applicant at a time, and no application is ever accepted automatically. The cap is enforced by that check rather than by a hard reservation of places, so it is a limit we apply and monitor rather than a technical guarantee.
Qualified applicants beyond the cap may be waitlisted. A waitlisted applicant may be accepted later if a place becomes free.
4. 30-day guided participation
The program runs for approximately 30 days from enrolment, and follows a guided structure:
- Onboarding — an onboarding survey and a short tour of the product.
- Day 7 — a check-in: what you have tried, what was clear, what was not.
- Day 15 — a second check-in: what is working, what is still confusing.
- Day 30 — a final survey covering your overall assessment.
- Completion — after the final survey, an administrator verifies that you have met the completion requirements and marks your participation complete. Completion is recorded by a person; it does not happen automatically when the final survey is submitted.
You may use the product at whatever pace suits you within that window.
5. Reasonable activity and feedback expectations
We ask for reasonable engagement, not perfect attendance:
- complete the onboarding survey;
- try the workflows relevant to your own needs;
- send feedback at approximately day 7, day 15 and day 30;
- complete the final survey.
Most participants will spend a few hours in total, not a few hours every week.
No positive review is required. Honest criticism is the purpose of the program. Feedback may be entirely negative and this will not affect your participation, your standing, or your eligibility for the reward.
You are never required to disclose financial information. Completing the program never requires uploading a real credit report, connecting a bank account, or entering account numbers, exact income or exact balances. Synthetic example data may be used instead, and every checklist item is optional.
6. Lifetime Pro eligibility and activation conditions
Founding members who complete the program — including the final survey — are eligible for lifetime access to Monyra Pro at no subscription charge.
Completing the program is required. If you withdraw, or stop taking part, before you have completed the program, you are not eligible for the reward. Eligibility is assessed at completion.
The activation capability exists. While the program is running your reward is recorded as pending activation, and it stays in that state until an administrator has verified your completion and explicitly activated the reward. No reward is activated automatically: completing the program, on its own, does not switch Pro on. Completion — including the final survey — is verified by an administrator, who then activates the reward as a separate, deliberate step. Until that step has been taken and confirmed to you, your reward is not active, and we will never tell you the reward is active unless it actually is. When the reward is activated we will confirm it to you in writing; that confirmation is sent by an administrator and is not automated.
Once the reward has been activated, it is yours. You do not lose it by stepping back from the founding program, by no longer sending feedback, by ordinary inactivity, or by not using the product. It ends only if Monyra discontinues the Pro service (section 7), or if it is revoked for one of the limited reasons below.
The reward may be revoked only for fraud, material abuse, or a material violation of these clearly disclosed terms — or at your own request. It is not revoked for ordinary inactivity, for giving negative feedback, or for choosing to leave the program.
7. Meaning of "lifetime access"
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Monyra Pro service, while the service remains offered. It is not a guarantee that the service will operate forever.
Specifically:
- The reward covers the standard Pro plan and the features included in it.
- It is subject to the published fair-use limits of the Pro plan.
- It does not automatically include separately sold future products, third-party paid services, or unlimited external AI usage.
- Membership is personal and nontransferable. It cannot be sold, shared or transferred.
- If Monyra discontinues the Pro service, the reward ends with it.
8. Fair use and AI usage limits
The Pro plan, including a founding reward, is subject to the same published usage limits as a paying Pro subscriber. They apply equally to paying subscribers and to founding members, and a founding reward does not raise them.
The standard Pro limits, counted monthly and enforced by the service, are 100 AI CFO messages, 25 document analyses and 5 credit-report analyses. PDF report exports are not capped. The founding reward follows these standard Pro limits: it does not raise them, and it does not provide unlimited external AI usage. A metered AI feature is never described as unlimited.
These limits exist because AI features consume real, metered third-party capacity. They may be adjusted with notice as the service develops.
9. Voluntary withdrawal
Participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time, for any reason, without giving a reason and without penalty.
You can withdraw from your participant portal, or by emailing us at support@monyra.app. Withdrawing:
- ends your participation, and ends your eligibility for the reward if you have not yet completed the program (section 6);
- does not take away a reward that has already been activated;
- does not delete your Monyra account;
- does not affect any other Monyra service you use.
You may separately request deletion of your Monyra account and personal data at any time. Account deletion is independent of program participation.
10. Privacy and retention of application data
What we collect from the application form: your name or preferred name, email address, confirmation that you are 18 or older, country of residence, why you want to use Monyra, the product areas you selected, how you manage money today, your biggest frustration, your experience level, your willingness to participate and to give feedback, your estimated weekly time, any optional explanation of fit, your consent choices, the time of submission, and coarse technical metadata (browser, operating system, and a truncated IP address used only for abuse prevention and throttling).
What we collect from participation: your checklist progress, your feedback submissions, your participation status, and your reward state.
Why: to assess your application and select participants, to communicate with you about the program, to understand how real people use Monyra and improve it, and to administer the reward.
Marketing email is optional and separate. It requires its own consent, is never bundled with the two required consents, and declining it has no effect on your application or participation.
Retention: if your application is not accepted, we keep it for 90 days after the recruitment window closes, and then delete it. Where a longer period is required by an applicable legal or regulatory retention obligation, we keep it only for as long as that obligation requires. If you are accepted, your participation data is retained for the duration of the program and for a reasonable period afterwards, to administer the reward and to keep an audit trail of decisions.
You may request deletion of your application data at any time; where a reward has been granted, we may retain the minimum record needed to honour it. Deletion of unsuccessful applications is carried out by a scheduled review after the recruitment window closes. Automated deletion is not active at present: nothing is deleted automatically today, and the review is performed by an administrator.
Who can see it:
- Your application. Your answers and internal reviewer notes are accessible to the Monyra administrators who review applications or administer the program. Reviewer notes are never shown to applicants.
- Your feedback. Your feedback is accessible to you and to those administrators.
- Personal financial information in your Monyra account. Anything you enter inside the Monyra application is stored in your own account and remains subject to Monyra's existing owner-scoped access rules. It is separate from your application, it is not reviewed alongside it, and it is not shown to other applicants or other users.
- Founding participants are not given administrator privileges. Participation is a record, not a permission.
We never use your financial data for marketing, and we never send financial data, report contents, account numbers or balances to advertising or analytics tools.
The Founding 25 Privacy Notice explains this in full.
11. Ownership and permitted use of product feedback
You retain ownership of your personal information, and you keep ownership of your personal financial data. Participation does not transfer it to Monyra.
By submitting product suggestions, ideas or feedback, you grant Monyra permission to use them to improve its services, without payment or attribution. This is the purpose of the program.
We will not publish your feedback with your name attached without your explicit permission. Feedback is not attributed to you publicly by default.
12. No guaranteed financial or credit outcomes
Monyra does not promise, predict or guarantee any financial outcome.
Monyra is not a credit bureau, is not a credit repair organisation, and does not provide financial, legal or tax advice. The Monyra Credit Health Rating is Monyra's own educational indicator and is not an official credit score. Nothing in the program will change your credit file, your credit score, your debt balances or your financial position.
This is a product-improvement program. It is not a paid job, not an investment opportunity, not a financial assistance program, and not a promise of improved credit scores.
13. Service availability
Monyra is under active development. Features may change, be added, be modified or be withdrawn. During the program the service is provided on an "as available" basis and interruptions may occur.
14. Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms during the program, we will tell affected participants by email. Continued participation after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you may withdraw at any time under section 9.
Some of the steps these terms describe are carried out by an administrator rather than automatically. That is true of: recording a decision and sending the decision email; verifying completion and activating the reward; sending the written confirmation of activation; telling participants about a material change to these terms; and deleting unsuccessful applications after the recruitment window closes. Where these terms say that we will do something, a person does it.
